This doesn’t surprise me one bit, it’s my favorite too.

I feel like “pull to refresh” is still just a temporary solution, and that soon all apps will simply update automatically in real time, without the user needing to pull or push anything.
That is — pull to refresh is an awesome replacement to a refresh button, but should still be replaced by even better technology.
