    It’s funny that they felt compelled to include an Apple fail, but the best they could come up with was the iPhone 4S battery issue which they finally and sheepishly admit was “a modest ‘fail’ wrapped inside an epic win”. I think some journalists (does that word even mean anything any more?) still long for the glory days when they could bandy about the phrase “beleaguered Apple.”

    And they misspelled “D’oh!”

    In all fairness, is the Kindle Fire a failure? If so, is it a failure among tech bloggers, or among the consumer public?

    By my quick eyeball survey, about 75% of the comments on the article call out CNN as an Apple shill. *eyeroll*
