Verbatim offers slim keyboard for iPads and other tablets

Verbatim on Monday announced its Ultra-Slim Bluetooth Keyboard, now available for $49.99. Available in black or white, the keyboard is designed to work with the iPad, iPhone, Samsung Galaxy Tab, Motorola Xoom and other tablet devices.

The keyboard lets iPad and iPhone users control iTunes with built-in media console buttons, and “Enhanced Smart Keys” that facilitate cut, copy, paste and undo functions. The soft-touch keys work silently, according to Verbatim.

The keyboard is independently powered using built-in batteries, which recharge when connected via a USB cable either to a computer or wall charger. A case is included.

The Ultra-Slim Bluetooth Keyboard works with any device that supports HID keyboards and Bluetooth.

The slim look is nice, but the keys seem a bit compressed on that poor surface.
