∞ Syncing the HTC DROID Incredible with iTunes

It takes 15 steps to sync this device with iTunes on Windows. Compare that to the steps it takes for the iPhone:

1. Plug your iPhone into the computer.

    Revised, as of iOS 5:

    1. Go to sleep.
    2. Wake up.
    3. iPhone is synced for you magically over the air.

I see your point, but seriously? That’s like saying “It takes 15 steps to retrofit a car to drive on railroad tracks”. Are you really surprised that it takes more steps to sync a phone that iTunes doesn’t support than the one that was made to sync only with iTunes? File under: Completely Obvious. :)

I think mine takes two steps:

    1) Download tunesync on the android market
    2) Install tunesync client on imac

I’ve been wirelessly syncing with itunes long before apple ever made it a possibility. Granted, I realize this is twice as many steps.

Syncing an Android Phone with Windows Media Player or WinAmp is a one step process.
Syncing an iPhone with Windows Media Player or WinAmp is just as convoluted as syncing an Android Phone with iTunes.

However, very few people use WMP or WinAmp. Most people use iTunes.
