    The distasteful part is that they claim to be whining on behalf of Defenseless Users.  But since when are Google’s profits ‘monopoly’ profits?

      They have a monopoly on search and that’s where they make their billions.

        monopoly? what about yahoo & bing? they are still there for a competition…..just that google is better choice for most search user…. what about baidu(monopoly in china?)

          Monopoly is not necessarily an “evil” thing.

    Google has a habit of ripping off others in my opinion – e.g., authors and programmers – so I love to see them whine about it.  Bing and Yahoo Search work fine, and the world would lose nothing if Google went under from patent suits.
