∞ Adobe outlines CS5 issues with OS X Lion

Adobe posted a page on its Web site today outlining any issues it found with Apple’s newly released OS X Lion. The page talks about everything from scrolling behavior to individual apps like Dreamweaver and Illustrator. Certainly a good resource for graphics pros.

I am so disillusioned with Adobe these days. Called tech support the other day, and It got me nowhere. First I attempted to use there chat support. That didn’t go very well. Second I attempted to use there phone support, nothing got resolved. I fear Adobe has lost it’s way. It no longer is the company that created the best software possible. I am dependent on them at the time, but as soon as viable alternatives become available, I am dumping them like habit. Now this? Sorry, but isn’t Adobe using developer builds to prevent this kind of issue form happening. Adobe is not the company it used to be, that is for sure.

The fact that Flash Player doesn’t appear to be using hardware acceleration is pretty disgraceful.
Um, Adobe? Developer seeds, have you heard of them?

That is exactly my point. The software, other that behaving as Lion was design, should be patch before the OS gold master is even in place. Why to developers get access to early builds if they don’t take advantage of this?

      Apple doesn’t allow hardware acceleration.
