∞ PayPal for iPhone updated

PayPal on Monday released an update for its iPhone app, making it even easier for users to make transaction from phone.

[ad#Google Adsense 300x250 in story]According to PayPal, there are three main areas the company focused on with this version: all app features displayed on one page; transaction history details are now just a tap away; and improved filtering of your transaction history.

PayPal said they “conduct intense usability research” to bring the best experience to its users.

As a long time PayPal user myself, I will especially enjoy the improved filtering. Trying to find something while on the go can be a frustrating experience at times.

PayPal for iPhone is free from the App Store.

Love PayPal. Use it all the time to get payments from customers. PayPal’s and Square’s rates are similar, so together, along with our Chase debit card, our transaction needs are well covered.

Chase lets us withdraw form our PayPal account via the PayPal debit card without a transaction fee. And Chase cash machines are in all Walgreens drugstores.

With PayPal’s daily cash withdrawal limit of $400 per debit card, we can go to Chase Bank ATMS, withdraw a stack of $20s, and immediately stuff that stack into the ATM’s cash deposit slot (assorted denominations up to about 40 bills at a time) to deposit into our main Chase account.

A Chase Bank ATM will also accept a stack of checks without an envelope, reads them automatically, and posts them same day to our account. Cash deposits post immediately.

So for the most part I never have to talk face to face with a bank teller. Not that that is at all unpleasant, but the overall convenience of getting payment notices via the PayPal app on our iPhones, and the general availability of Chase Bank ATMs 24/7, means our routine banking chores are very easy and convenient.

Just downloaded the new version of the PayPal app. Nice upgrade. Works better than ever.
