In addition to releasing Final Cut Pro, Apple on Tuesday quietly updated its Time Capsule wireless router and backup system.

According to its Web site, the Time Capsule now comes in 2TB and 3TB capacities, up from the previous 1TB and 2TB models. Like the older models, the new Time Capsules feature dual-band 802.11n wireless networking and support for Mac OS X’s Time Machine backup.

The prices for the Time Capsules are really good too. The 2TB model is $299 and the 3TB model is $499.

There were rumors of software update integration and iCloud support for the Time Capsule and while we haven’t seen any of that mentioned, Apple could easily turn on those features with a software update.
