∞ Apple investigating Verizon iPad 2 3G issues

Apple on Friday said it is investigating reported issues from customers using the Verizon iPad 2 3G.

[ad#Google Adsense 300x250 in story]“We are aware that a small number of iPad 2 customers have experienced connectivity issues with the Verizon 3G network and we are investigating it,” the company said in a statement to AllThingsD.

In an eight page thread on Apple’s support forums, customers describe the iPad as searching for a connection, but never being able to connect. Sometimes a hard reset will work, other times it won’t, according to the posters.

The issues does not appear to affect users on AT&T’s 3G network.

Jim, looks like there’s a missing word in your final sentence. “… users of on….”

Maybe it is just a battery save option when you put the ipad to sleep. A software update will fix this. Sounds more like user error, apple users are sometimes clueless..
