∞ Latest iPhone rumors: smaller handsets, global networking, unicorns

The latest Apple rumors to make the rounds suggests that the company is working on cheaper iPhone designs to compete with the wider variety of Android handsets hitting the market.

[ad#Google Adsense 300x250 in story]Bloomberg reports that one version is smaller and cheaper than today’s iPhone, while another sports the ability to use the iPhone on multiple wireless networks around the globe.

Bloomberg, predictably, couldn’t find anyone who could confirm the rumors on the record – the reports and speculation are attributed to unidentified “people who have been briefed on the plans.” Apple, of course, had no comment.

The article also noted that “Apple often works on products that don’t get released,” casting the veracity of everything noted in the report into question.

You know Apple has unicorns right? That 3 or 4 billion dollar purchase they declined to comment on which could be anything from retina displays for the iPad to flash memory is actually Steve’s secret unicorn farm. Apple hasn’t been dealing with China Unicom they have been dealing with China UNICORN.

Also medical leave is code for Steve is out playing with the unicorns. I can’t identify my sources but they’re real… honest.

I strongly disbelieve Apple will be making a cheaper iPhone that doesn’t do anything better except have a better price for the same reason they were dissing notebooks saying they were “just cheap computers” that have no reason for being. but, in the other sides, I do hope Apple would luanched a cheap iphone. If so, I could buy one also. lol.
