∞ Report: Steve Jobs may attend Verizon event

Earlier today Verizon Wireless sent invitations for an event being held next week in New York. Now, it appears Apple CEO Steve Jobs may attend as well.

[ad#Google Adsense 300x250 in story]Citing “sources in a position to know,” John Paczkowski reports on AllThingsD.com that Jobs could join Verizon President and COO Lowell McAdam at the event. Jobs’ appearance isn’t going to happen for sure.

However, Paczkowski’s sources said that “barring any unforeseen circumstances,” Jobs would be there.

If you had of asked me earlier today if someone from Apple would be at the event, I would have guessed maybe Phil Schiller, Scott Forstall, or Greg Joswiak.iPhone 4 Cameras

    I hope he does, given that AT&T have been launching Android devices as fast as they can get their hands on them. I think it would send a good message that Apple has OTHER partners in the wireless space. The AT&T exclusivity has been holding iOS back in the US. Blow the doors off it!
