∞ Steve Jobs: AirPrint is not dead

Rumors began circulating yesterday that AirPrint, an Apple technology the enables wireless printing from your iPad, had been pulled from an upcoming Mac OS X update. Apparently, that’s not the case at all. An email, reportedly from Steve Jobs resolves the issue.

“AirPrint has not been pulled. Don’t believe everything you read.”

I need a new printer anyhow. As an infrequent printer, I like HP (it’s cheaper to replace a clogged cartridge than a clogged part-of-printer ink sprayer or the whole printer). The HP C310a looks promising.

I have a color laser printer – Okidata C3400N – its awesome! The “ink” never “dries out or clogs” because it uses dry toner and prints have a nice glossy sheen like a magazine page. Its always ready to print when I am. Highly recommended!

Easier said than done for most humanoids.
