∞ Science learning site, Scitable, goes mobile for iPhone, iPad

Nature Publishing this week took a huge step forward, making its collaborative learning website, Scitable, mobile friendly.

Scitable is a free science library and personal learning tool. The site is peer reviewed and has hundreds of thousands of users worldwide, which also gives the site a social networking aspect for those interested in science.

Using Scitable, you can build an online classroom, contribute content, connect with your peers, and join in conversations related to science.

The site is very content-rich and offers several ways to help you find the content or group you are interested in.

I tried out the site on the iPad and it looks and works great. On the iPhone, the mobile version of the site is well appointed with all of the features you need to contribute and connect with people while traveling or otherwise away from your desktop.

Is this an app available in the Apps Store? I tried to search on Scitable and it returned zero results. I also tried to search on Nature Publishing and the only iPad app that came up was Nature Human Genome app.

No, it’s the Website itself. No need for an app.
