∞ Scene Store opens for My Living Desktop

My Living Desktop is a cool Mac application that brings your desktop to life with video and animation. Now it has a store where you can purchase scenes.

The company said the Scene Store gives users gives users the ability to browse, buy and install video Scenes to their My Living Desktop application. There are a number of categories to choose from including Fine Art, Art and Animation, Statues, Landmarks, Animals and Insects.

Scenes are priced at $2.95 each or you can buy a ScenePak. These include multiple scenes from a particular category and are priced from $4.95 to $9.95. The company is also offering a 20 percent discount for a limited time from the store.

The My Living Desktop application costs $34.95 and is described as “a unique cross between a Video Desktop (moving wallpaper) and a traditional screen saver.”

    This sounds like a great way to waste your computing power. How much time to people actually spend on their computer while their desktop is visible? I don’t understand what the value proposition is here. oh well

      Might be useful for a kiosk setup or commercial application.

      Personally, I agree with you, I could live without it as well.
