Apple said on Wednesday that the white iPhone 4 will not be available until the second half of July. Many people had hoped to order the white iPhone when the new device became available for pre-order, but a note on its Web site said it was not available. Apple said the white model has “proven more challenging to manufacture than expected.”

Apple said the black iPhone 4 is not affected by the delay.
