Apple on Tuesday released a new app for its users built specifically for the iPhone and iPod touch.
The app is laid out for easy navigation with Featured, Products, Stores, Search and Cart along the botton of the app. You can dig deeper into each menu item by tapping on it.
The products category is split into iPhone, iPad, Mac and iPod. All accessories for each of those products are included within its category.
The Apple Store app is free from the App Store.

I was able to reserve my first phone using the new app, and that went fine. Started the process of ordering my wife's phone and the app told me "Due to high demand", it could not take my reservation. <sigh> back to the apple store on my mac…
I tried every way but waving a dead chicken over my head to get an iPhone with my iPad and my Macs at home and work. Downloaded this app – onto my iPad – and finally got a 32 gig iPhone 4 in time to get it delivered June 24th. A friend wasn't so lucky. His order is being delayed five days! Bummer.
