You may have heard that AT&T announced a couple of new data plans earlier today that essentially put caps on the amount of data that iPhone users can consume. Our friends at TUAW talked to AT&T today and have posted a Q&A from that interview.

    Wired magazine has good step by steps instruction on how to figure out what level of data you've been using, how to determine what level would be best under the new plans and then a poll of iPhone users to gage how much data people are using. I found out under the "Unlimited" plan I now have I am paying more than if I bought data that matched my average usage. But I am as they say grandfathered in with an unlimited plan giving me the ability to use as much as I want at a fixed monthly price.
