∞ GameSalad game creation tool supports iPad

Gendai Games has announced the expansion of GameSalad’s platform support to include the iPad. GameSalad now supports game creation on the iPhone, iPod touch, Web and Mac.

Billed as “game creation for the rest of us,” GameSalad is aimed at non-developers who have an idea for what kind of game they want to make but may lack the programming chops to see it happen. It’s a visual, drag-and-drop tool that can be used to create games and interactive media.

So far, GameSalad has been used to create hundreds of iPhone games – everything from action games and arcade games to puzzles, strategy games, and more.

    And the holes continue to be poked in the theory that the iPad stifles creativity.

    I feel like in this market it would be somewhat foolish NOT to support iPad… game development is marching inexorably in this direction…
