It’s been an up and down ride for Canada’s mens hockey team during the Olympics, but in the end, our top players came through.

Like most families across Canada, my family sat and watched the game. We yelled and cheered along with the fans in the stands at the hockey game. It was emotional, especially when the US tied the game.

Leave it to Sidney Crosby to pick overtime in the gold medal game to get his biggest goal.

I’m proud of the men’s and women’s hockey teams. Actually, I’m proud of all our Olympic medal winners.

Canada is now the winningest country in Olympic history with 14 gold medals.
