Apple on Wednesday released an update for photographers using Mac OS X.
According to notes provided with the update, Apple added support for several cameras. Included with Digital Camera Raw Compatibility Update 2.7 is support for the Canon EOS-1D Mark IV; Canon EOS 7D; Canon PowerShot G11; Nikon D3S; Nikon D300S; and the Nikon D3000.
The updates adds support for Aperture 2, iPhoto ’08 and iPhoto ’09. The update can be downloaded via the software update mechanism in Mac OS X.

since installing this update i have not been able to use any software including Aperture, CS4, and iPhoto. The Mac will not recognise .DNG, or .NEF files, and Aperture will only load and diaplay the embedded jpeg thumbnails.
I cannot even undo the update and revert to a previously known good version
verry pissed off with no help or support from apple who regard it as a third party software problem because they did not write the .NEF or .DNG formats!!!
What you’re saying is entirely true. I realize that everyone must say the same thing, nonetheless I simply believe that you rest it in a technique that each person could know. I moreover love the images you put in there. They fit as a result well with what youre trying to say. Im sure you’ll reach accordingly many community with what you’ve got to say.
