I’m so thankful for this free subscription. I just got it going today, and WOW! I didn’t realize that MacUpdate would not just send me to Webpages but instead try to download all of the apps and install them. With all the apps I have, this is fantastic!

Checking for updates every week is fine for me, but my husband is for some reason compelled to check every day. Sometimes more than once a day. This could feed his habit.

This is great. I’ve been using MU and VersionTracker and recently tried TechTracker. I didn’t know MU had such a thing, it certainly would be nice to switch!

Cool. I’ve always wanted something like this, since I get frustrated sometimes when I go to use an app and find there’s an update, and then have to wait for it to download & update before using the app (this is self-imposed, I realize). MacUpdate Desktop sure seems like it’d solve this problem for me.

[Note to The Beard: Posting a comment using the mobile version of this 'site didn't work for me. Tried posting within Tweetie, but after filling everything out & pressing "Publish," just got a spinning gear for 5 minutes & nothing happened. Same thing in Mobile Safari. This was on either 3G or wifi, on an iPhone 3GS...just tryin' to help!]

Nice to see more of these products coming out. Auto update is good, but this makes it a lot easier for those apps you do not use often.

Looks interesting. I haven’t been all that thrilled with AppFresh, so something like this could be just what I’m looking for. Just downloaded and installed it. But a 10-day trial? C’mon, MacUpdate. Where’s the love?
