Jim – really sorry to hear you’ve lost all respect for my company. Hopefully I can earn it back some day.

Really, I’m just trying my best to do a good thing here, and there are flaws with the site but it’s just me volunteering my time to list a bunch of companies who claim to support the coupon code.

Hopefully if you consider that what I’m trying to do is all well-intentioned, and it’s helping a lot of customers get a good deal, you will regain some respect for me.

Me thinks the site will soon be renamed, “One Finger Salute”.
I’d be curious to know if each and every single developer listed is aware of this sha..errr…promotion. Already in tough times they don’t need another swipe at their business.

And on an unrelated note: good christ spring has arrived in Montreal!!!

I’m shocked. Upon trying the “coupon code” on several of these vendor sites, it doesn’t work!

Granted, I’m assuming that “onefingerdiscount” IS the coupon code – which isn’t really that apparent, by the way.

I’ve now lost all respect for Red Sweater Software, and a little respect for every last developer listed on that site – because apparently not one of them had the common sense to ask them to fix the stupid site, and clarify how the promo works.

I don’t see any discounts through the OneFingerDiscount site. I see an ugly site, with a long unruly list of developer web sites; the links for which don’t even take you to a specific application page.

Apparently the idea that the design of the site is what entices people to MacHeist almost as much as the apps has escaped them at 1FD. LOL!

If MacHeist gives the software out for free, they must have spent some $$ to acquire the licenses no? So whether MH pays for it or the end-user with 1FD the bottom line remains the same. I’m so missing something here aren’t I?
