Beta Monkey Music recently released a new collection of drum loops for Mac using musicians called Odd Time Meltdown II.
As the name implies, the new collection features loops not in the standard 4/4 time. Beta Monkey says the loops are specifically designed for prog-rock and fusion players, although I’m sure they can be used in almost any genre of music.
The disk has almost 700MB of live odd meter grooves using 3/4, 5/4, 5/8, 7/4 and 7/8 meters. It also comes with over 300MB of multi-velocity samples as well.
The samples were recorded in an L.A. studio and put together specifically for this package.
Odd Time Meltdown II is available immediately and costs $39.99.
