∞ iTunes 9.0.2 adds dark Grid View, improves accessibility

Together with AppleTV 3.0, Apple has released iTunes 9.0.2. The software is available for download through Software Update or from the Web site.

iTunes 9.0.2 features support for AppleTV 3.0, along with a new look – a dark background for Grid View. Support for accessibility has also been improved, according to the release notes.

iTunes 9.0.2 requires Mac OS X 10.4.11 or later. It also runs on Windows, if you’re unfortunate enough to have to use that stuff.

Jim was it also possible to group podcasts prior to this update? I just noticed this while trying to find the dark grid view. :)

Also I think they should start releasing these upgrades with a little easter egg for all those pre owners out there. So when the hook it up it scolds them and shows a movie of a dog being smacked on the nose with rolled up news paper. “Bad Pre Bad!”

Ah isn’t it nice not being at Macworld anymore and getting to write lines like this without a bunch of assholes jumping down your throat. Until those very same people find this website…

Almost feels like it did years ago when being a Mac owner meant being in a small group. On the one hand it’s vindicating that people finally see how much more superior the platform is. I just wish I could just choose who was able to use it :-P

    Sorry, rant over.

Regarding the palm pre sync, I recommend that Pre owners should buy “The Missing Sync for Palm Pre”.

902 runs just a little bit faster on my Vista PC too. 900 and 901 were a little bit sluggish, in basic things like scrolling down the Library in list view, etc. Even little improvements like this make me happy. Oh and yes, I also have a Mac. The PC is mostly for gaming (the Mac for everything else). But I store my iTunes on both Mac and PC. In case one crashes horribly and I lose everything, there is an identical backup of my Library on the other.
