I’m depressed to realize I actually find this app useful, but my vision is going. Too many years of toiling away in dimly lit monasteries working on illuminated manuscript, I expect.

Eye Glasses
Using the camera built into iPhones, and optimized especially for the iPhone 3GS, Eye Glasses uses the built-in camera to magnify imagery by 2x, 4x, 6x and 8x. You hold the object about five inches away from the iPhone and the camera will magnify it.
This comes in handy for reading fine print, checking for minor defects in objects and more.
Genius idea.
Don’t know if I want an extra app just for this… I can use the regular camera and turn on screen magnification in the settings app. All I do then is double-tap home for the camera, then double-three-finger-tap the screen, and viola, magnifier.
If I find myself doing this enough, I’ll probably come back and buy the app for the convenience of it.
I have noticed that Garmin product is the best gps over all. This GPS is worth every penny, easy to use and the signal is always good.
