∞ Facebook 3.0 released for iPhone and iPod touch

Facebook’s new app was approved by Apple on Thursday and showed up as an update on the App Store. As previously reported, this version does not support push notifications.

Facebook 3.0There are a lot of new changes in this version including the ability to use the company’s chat service. You can also check your friends latest photos, look up a number and upload mobile photos.

Among the other changes in the app are:

  • See your events and RSVP
  • See your friends birthday
  • See Pages and post updates and photos to pages you admin
  • Write Notes and read friends’ notes
  • Upload videos from an iPhone 3GS
  • Complete photo management, including creating and deleting albums and photos
  • Change your profile pic
  • Zoom on photos
  • Like
  • News feeds
  • Visit links in the built-in browser
  • See mutual friends
  • Become a fan of pages

FaceBook 3.0 is a free update and is available for download from the App Store.

    The app worked well up until a month ago, all features as stated above. However, the picture upload is no longer working. No answers yet from Facebook or the App developer as to why, or when it will be fixed. Apparently BlackBerry users are experiencing the same thing; thus, it may be a Facebook problem.

    Okay, just wondering because someone said I would someone said I wouldn’t. I am getting a new computer (whole new computer) but I will be using the same router I have now for wireless on my new computer. Will this give me a new IP or no?

But after the reboot, it still does it.
