Videos: Demo of Logic Pro 9’s Flex Time

When Logic Pro 9 was introduced late last week it came with a slew of new features. One of the handiest is called Flex Time.

logicbox 220x120 Videos: Demo of Logic Pro 9s Flex TimeIn its simplest form, Flex Time allows you to control the timing of the music without affecting the sound of the notes you are moving. If you’ve ever recorded a track and it was just a little bit off time, you know exactly what I’m talking about.

You can either re-record the track, slice it up and move the individual pieces or just live it. For a demo, most of us just lived with it. For a master, you have to make the adjustments.

Flex Time gives you some easy options to make those changes on a recorded audio track.

Here’s a demo of how it works on a guitar solo with lots of pieces to move around.

And here’s a demo moving lots of audio at once using Flex Time.
