You must know by now that there is an app for almost anything you want on the iPhone, including Comic-Con.
The comic convention is celebrating its 40th year, so this is a big event. So special is this year’s event that there is even an official iPhone app for the convention. Here are a few of the iPhone apps available for comic book enthusiasts.
Official Comic-Con App: This acts as your digital guide to the convention with the latest news, programs exhibitors and maps.
Comics: This is an iPhone comic store and reader. You can download over 30 free comic books and buy over 100 more.
iComic -comic reader-: Another reader where comics can be downloaded from within the app. This app takes advantage of Apple’s multitouch gestures.
Comic Reader Mobi: A comic book reader that features auto-sizing and auto-bookmarking.
ComicZeal: This is a great looking comic book reader with virtual bookshelves showing you which comics you’ve started reading and ones that you’ve already read.
Heroes Comic Reader: This reader allows you to explore the Heroes graphic novels. There over 135 novels available to download.
iLocate — Comic Books: iLocate is a searchable database for all Comic Book shops complete with contact info and directions.
Syfy Comic-Con 2009: Like the official app release, this one allows you to keep track of sights and the latest news from the convention.
