While I have no use for it, I could see it replacing Leopard on my wife's iBook G4 in a few years when Leopard is no longer viable. (Assuming I don't get her a better laptop first.) But I believe it'll have more impact on Linux users than it will on Windows users - for the same reason that Linux has had little impact on Windows users — If you can't run MS Office on it, it's never going to be a major player in the consumer OS market. Even a netbook user is going to want to run office apps. If they would be happy with any old word processor, spreadsheet or presentation software, Google's apps would be the most popular on the planet - which obviously they aren't.
