Apple is sending out final reminder notices to members of its old .Mac service, making sure they remember some of the services are being discontinued.
Specifically, Apple will discontinue HomePage and Groups, two of its Web page creation services. As of July 7, users will no longer be able to create or edit existing pages, the company said in an email sent to users.
There is no need to worry about existing content disappearing. Apple said those pages will remain live for as long as you like. An FAQ has been posted to the Web site.
Of course, with its new MobileMe service and iLife, Apple gives users new ways to publish content to the Web with applications like iWeb and iPhoto.
