Apple: Jobs returning at the end of June

By Jim DalrympleJune 21, 2009, 9:14 am PT

Questions about Apple CEO Steve Jobs’ health resurfaced this weekend after the Wall Street Journal reported that he had a liver transplant during his leave of absence. However, Apple said Jobs is still coming back at the end of June.

Steve Jobs“Steve continues to look forward to returning to Apple at the end of JuneĀ and there is nothing further to say,” an Apple spokesperson told The Loop when reached for comment this weekend.

Apple did not confirm whether Jobs had undergone surgery. It has been Apple’s policy not to discuss Steve’s health, saying it was a private matter.

Jobs reportedly had the surgery in Tennessee and is recovering comfortably.

Of course, concerns over Steve’s health stem from his bout with pancreatic cancer in 2004. The cancer was successfully treated at the time and apparently has not returned.

We will have to wait and see if Jobs does return and what role he plays at that time.

Ok, I know you’ve read the reports about this type of cancer. Dont’ say the cancer has apparently not returned – the cancer has returned, that’s why he required a liver transplant.
